Company & Personal Description:

Max Reynolds Tree Services started operating in 2016. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, developing our experienced team to take on all manner of tree surgery and forestry maintenance contracts. We are based in and around the county of Cumbria, although we do take on work further afield.

Max studied Arboriculture & Silviculture at Myerscough College for 3 years leaving with a Diploma and all necessary qualifications (‘tickets’). He has contracted for his local estate, Witherslack Hall for the last 8 years, growing his knowledge of forestry management, timber harvesting, planting, and all-important conservation skills. He has been involved in Countryside Stewardship Schemes, Butterfly Conservation areas and Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). As a member of CONFOR, he is dedicated to taking care of and looking after Cumbria’s ancient woodland diversity which is a huge part of their sustainability.

We have completed work for Cumbria County Council and various local Parish Councils as well as domestic clients. We also maintain and take care of 22 YHA Hostels within Cumbria and are taking on more. We work closely with the YHA to maintain a duty of care over the hostel guests by reducing any risk to health and safety by carrying out regular tree work maintenance over footpaths, camping and cabin sites and car parks.  Whether removing a tree, if necessary, reducing the crown size or dead wooding we will always take the necessary steps to retain the vigour and health of every tree, but we regard health and safety as a key part of our ethos.
