Tree felling is the action of cutting down a tree, sometimes to prevent the spread of disease and improve safety in the area. On other occasions it can be due to risk of falling and causing damage to the area or structures around it.

Not all trees are fit for felling and other approaches must be used, but after an assessment on the tree and the environment, an outcome can easily be produced.
